Today, March 1st, is the last day students can submit their Ignatian Scholarship Day applications online at https://apps.canisius.edu/ignatian. Faculty and staff mentors will receive an email once the student has submitted their application to review and make edits. Mentors can access their list of student submissions at https://apps.canisius.edu/ignatianfac.
Mentors will be able to edit until March 5th. Once the application has been endorsed by the mentor, both the student and mentor will receive an email regarding approval for the application. Contact will continue until the day of the event through email.

The 2012-13 men’s basketball regular season comes to a close Saturday afternoon when the Griffs host Rider at 2 pm in the Koessler Athletic Center. Following the game, the Griffs seniors will be saluted for their efforts and accomplishments during the past four years.
In addition it is Auction Direct USA and Canisius Bookstore Fan Appreciation Day. We are giving away a Kindle Fire, travel bags and plenty of gift certificates.
The Griffs entered the final weekend of play tied with Rider for third in the conference standings.

The second in a series of four Town Hall Meetings for faculty and staff will be held on Wednesday, March 6 from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. in the Regis Room – North.
The meeting will focus on the status of the Strategic Assessment and the current budget situation. The President and Vice Presidents also will respond to questions and comments that some of you have submitted through the Angel drop boxes and discuss recent communications about the budget expense freeze and the new budget development process.
The turnout for the first Town Hall meeting was excellent and a number of important questions and ideas were exchanged. Please consider attending.
Future Town Halls have been scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m., both in Regis North
