Are you interested in having your courses merged in ANGEL for the Summer or Fall 2013 semesters? (Merge means that you combine two or more sections of a course into one). If the answer is yes, simply submit an email to helpdesk@canisius.edu
In the email, include the following:
- Instructor name- first and last (example Sunny Day)
- Courses to be merged- course code and course number (example EDC 121 and EDC 234)

The Canisius College athletic department will host the 2013 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference men’s lacrosse championships this weekend. Top seeded Marist will battle Detroit at 4:15 on Friday afternoon, while Jacksonville and Siena will meet in the second semifinal contest. That game will face off at 8 pm under the Demske Sports Complex lights.
The championship game will start at 1 pm on Sunday.
Time Warner will televise all three games. Friday’s games will be telecast on a tape delay basis on TW, however both games can be viewed live on espn3. Sunday’s game will be telecast live on both Time Warner and espn3.

Rev. Patrick J. Lynch, S.J. (Religious Studies & Theology, A&S) is the recipient of a Mission & Identity Course Development Grant for summer 2013. Rev. Michael Tunney, S.J., director of the Mission & Identity office, oversaw the process that concluded Thursday, April 25 with the award.
Professor Lynch’s course proposal is entitled “Famous Jesuits.”
His course proposal will benefit our Honor’s Program students’ understanding of our Catholic intellectual tradition’s Jesuit history and spirituality lived out across the centuries and around our world. The students and Prof. Lynch alike will benefit from his professional development and his departments’ growth in this area central to our mission and values.
Fr. Tunney commended Prof. Lynch and his course proposal for his response to our college’s deepening appreciation of our Catholic and Jesuit ideals in the classroom as well as the countless ways it can take root in the bodies, minds, and spirits of Jesuits, our students, and our colleagues.

Join Matthew Faulkner ’13 for a video screening and book signing tonight (April 29) at 7:30 p.m. in Regis North.
The documentary, Recovery, is based on the book Most Likely to Survive which details Matt’s miraculous recovery from traumatic brain injury.
An automobile accident on March 2, 2009, while Faulkner was a senior at West Seneca West Senior High School, left him in a deep coma for almost two months with almost no chance of survival. Against all odds, he walked out of ECMC 103 days later, and across the stage at his high school graduation just two weeks later. A senior finance major, Matt will graduate this May from Canisius.
Copies of Most Likely to Survive will be available for purchase before the book signing. Copies of Recovery can be ordered during the event.
