Members of the Canisius College Student Programming Board (SPB) presented Cornerstone Manor with a check in the amount of $206 on Monday, March 11. Cornerstone Manor is a women’s and children’s shelter run by the Buffalo City Mission.

The SPB raised the funds at its February 14 event entitled “UNPLUGGED: An intimate evening with the Dating Doctor featuring David Coleman.” The SPB charged $2 for tickets and also sold raffle tickets to raise the $206.

David Coleman and his company, Coleman Productions, then matched the SPB donation to Cornerstone Manor.

Pictured at Monday’s check presentation are (l-r): Kathleen MacLeay ’13, SPB graduate advisor; Anne Continetti ’14, SPB chair and vice president of programming for the Undergraduate Student Association; Aubrey Calhoun, director of Cornerstone Manor; Felicia Trinka ’13, SPB event coordinator; and Kelly Donovan ’13, SPB secretary.
