Jazz Quartet Performance

ArtsCanisius presents the Dave Schiavone Jazz Quartet in the Montante Cultural Center this afternoon at 3 PM.

The quartet has been performing since 1997 both nationally and internationally and their CD “Hidden Treasures” was met with national acclaim. The current version of the Quartet consists of Dave Schiavone on saxophones and flute, George Kane on guitar, Buddy Fadale on bass and Peggy Scalzo rounds out the quartet on drums. The ensemble will be performing many styles of Jazz, from the swing era of the 1930′s right up to the burning contemporary sound of today’s music, performing both standards and originals. Admission is free and open to the public.
