President John J. Hurley discussed the state of the college and plans for the year ahead at the annual President’s Convocation held yesterday afternoon in the Montante Cultural Center. Please join fellow Canisius community members on Friday, September 7 at 2 p.m. as we dedicate Science Hall, Canisius’ new world class science facility. The dedication will be held at the Science Hall Main Street entrance. Rev Michael F. Tunney, S.J., director of mission and identity, will lead the dedication prayer followed by a symbolic and exciting ceremonial ribbon cutting. President Hurley and New York State Assemblyman Robin Schimminger will also share remarks as part of the event’s celebration. A reception will follow immediately in the Chester Hon ’01 & Diane Stranczek Commons. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
