On Wednesday (November 10), Lorri Glover, PhD, the John Francis Bannon, S.J. Professor of History at Saint Louis University, will lecture on “The Founders as Fathers: Family Values and Revolutionary Politics” at 7:30 p.m. in Regis North.
Glover is the author of Southern Sons: Becoming Men in the New Nation (John Hopkins, 2007) and All Our Relations: Blood Ties and Emotional Bonds Among the Early South Carolina Gentry (Johns Hopkins, 2000). She is also the co-author of The Shipwreck that Saved Jamestown: The Sea Venture Castaways and the Fate of America (Henry Holt, 2008).
The lecture is co-sponsored by the Phi Alpha Theta chapter of Canisius College and the Department of History. All are welcome to attend.
