A Rivalry Renewed On The Ice

Scott Jenks ’11

After a one year absence, the Canisius vs. Niagara hockey rivalry resumes on the Buffalo State Ice Arena ice with a new twist.  For the first time ever, the teams will meet as conference foes due to Niagara joining the Atlantic Hockey Association this year.

The first of three annual meetings will take place tomorrow (November 2) at 7 p.m. at Buff State.  It’s Uncle Bob’s White Out Night with fans encouraged to wear white.  The game also is worth one point in the annual Battle of the Bridge series between the two schools.  Stop by for what promises to be an intense competition on the ice!

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children; however, kids 12 and under in a youth hockey jersey are admitted at no charge.
