Open Enrollment For Canisius Care Flexible Spending Accounts

It is open enrollment time for Canisius Care!  Meetings will be held tomorrow (November 17) at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Lyons Hall, Room 118.

Current participants in the plan who re-enroll for 2011 should not discard their PowerPay card from Independent Health.  The card will be re-loaded at the end of 2010 with the amount elected for 2011.  Complete an enrollment form with the 2011 election and return it to Human Resources by December 3.

Also, effective January 1, 2011, over-the-counter drugs will no longer be eligible for reimbursement unless employees present a prescription from a physician.  This applies to any claim incurred on or after January 1, 2011, even if applying the claim to 2010 funds.

Those who currently participate and do not wish to re-enroll for 2011 should print their name on the enrollment form, print “decline” in the election section on the form, sign, date, and return the form to Human Resources by December 3.

For those not currently participating but would like to enroll for 2011, complete an enrollment form and return the form to Human Resources by December 3.  Enrollment forms can be found here.
