Canisius College will present Polish Film Showcase 2010 from Thursday (November 4) to Saturday (November 7).  The event, which is sponsored by The Permanent Chair of Polish Culture, will be held at the Montante Cultural Center, located at the corner of Main Street and Eastwood Place.  Tickets are available at the door for $5.  Students are free with ID on opening night only.  For information, contact the Department of Modern Languages at Ext. 2835 or click here.

6:30 p.m. – Rozyczka (Little Rose, Drama, 2010); directed by Jan Kidawa-Blonski.  Golden Lion 2010 Best Film, Best Female Role, Best Sound

8:45 p.m. – Meet the Director: Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo

9 p.m. – Afterlife (Psychological Horror Thriller, 2009); directed by Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo.  Starring Liam Neeson and Christina Ricci.

Friday, November 5
6:30 p.m. – Handlarz Cudow (Miracle Seller, Drama, 2009); directed by Jaroslaw Szoda and Boleslaw Pawica.  Chicago 2009 Critics Award Best Cinematography.

9 p.m. – Kolysanka (Lullaby, Dark Comedy, 2010); directed by Juliusz Machulski.  Odessa International Film Festival 2010 Best Director.

Saturday, November 6
7 p.m. – Cudowne Iato (A Wonderful Summer, Romantic Comedy, 2010); directed by Ryszard Brylski.
