Free Holiday Anxiety Webinar

MHA’s Child & Family Support program joins Parent Network of Western New York and NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities to sponsor an online workshop to help families cope with the stressors brought on by the holidays.

The holidays are a time for special moments and new memories. But they can also STRESS US OUT.  This workshop will give you the tools to help you and your family “Let It Go” so you can feel more empowered to enjoy and experience the joy of the holiday season.

Presented by Joe Clem, a licensed marriage and family therapist and behavior analyst, the live Zoom event will be held Thursday, December 1 from 6:00-8:00pm. Registration is free. ITS Banner Upgrades Scheduled

ITS will be applying Banner upgrades to its production environment, on Sunday November 27, 2022 from 5:00 –11:00 a.m. During this maintenance window, the Banner Application, Self-Service Banner (Student Profile, registration, timesheets, leave balances, etc) will be unavailable.

 

The ITS systems status page, found in dark blue top section of the portal, will be updated accordingly.

Griff Choice Available to Faculty and Staff

It’s your key, your ID, even your money.  Your Griff Pass (ID Card) is also your Griff Choice debit card. Griff Choice can be used throughout the entire year and is accepted at the bookstore, all Dine On Campus locations, printing and vending machines with Griff Pass readers, and off campus at participating locations.  Purchases are subject to tax.  Funds will carry over from year to year.  You can add funds to your Griff Choice account online by clicking on GriffPass under Campus services in MyCanisius.

The Griff Choice Off-Campus Merchant Program is offered to all faculty/staff and enables participants to use funds from their Griff Choice Account at local businesses.

Pedagogy Primer Podcast

In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Justin Del Vecchio and Matthew Gracie, both faculty in the Department of Quantitative Sciences and the Cybersecurity graduate program.  They discuss the possibilities for cybersecurity students and graduates, and some of the day-to-day aspects of work for cybersecurity professionals.  They also offer advice on keeping current in cybersecurity issues, and great practices for the rest of us in keeping our digital data, work, and life secure from intrusion or loss.
