The Canisius Canine Research Team is collecting airline-approved kennels and carriers to send to Puerto Rico. Kennels and carriers can be dropped off Saturday, October 14, from 12 – 3 p.m. in the Health Science Parking lot. Pet owners and animal rescues in Puerto Rico are in desperate need of travel kennels so they can travel with their animals out of Puerto Rico. Without a proper airline kennel, some pet owners may be forced to leave their pet behind when they depart Puerto Rico. The kennels can also be dropped off at Fetch ‘n Catch (6517 Transit Rd, Bowmansville) or A Pawsitive Experience (6440 Schultz Rd, Lake View) through Thursday, October 19.
