Your Canisius hockey team concludes the regular season portion of its schedule this weekend against Atlantic Hockey nemesis, RIT. The Griffs are at RIT on Friday night, before returning home on Saturday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night festivities.

Saturday night’s game features a few exciting opportunities for fans. The first 200 Griff fans will receive a free Frosty, courtesy of Wendys.

Those arriving by 7 p.m. will have the opportunity to view senior ceremonies as Ben Parker, Torrey Lindsey, Preston Shupe and Chris Barrea prepare to play their final home game.

It’s Fan Appreciation Night with plenty of prizes, and the Tampa Bay Lightning have been kind enough to donate an autographed Cory Conacher shirt that will be auctioned off at the game.

All proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. As you know, Cory is currently leading all NHL rookies in scoring.
