Shoot and Score Winner Christine Moll

Christine Moll chairs the department she graduated from in 1986, Counseling and Human Services. She’s also a winner in the Shoot and Score contest for this entry: “One may hear the term cura personalis walking around campus. In our day-to-day world, cura personalis is more than an ideal; it shapes a culture lived out daily across campus by students, staff, administration and faculty. It means that we care for the whole person of our students, and our colleagues. The campus is not a utopia, but a real community of people trying to make the world a better place.

“For MANY years, I have personally benefited often from the care and concern of my colleagues and students. I attempt multiple times daily to pay it forward. It is what we do, it is who we are: men and women for others! The people at Canisius College make a world of difference in my life and are what Canisius means to me!”

Christine won tickets to a Sabres game. Your next Sabres game could be on us too. Click here to enter and win by including an example or story that best reflects the Canisius experience. It could be a short story about a student, professor, class, project or activity on or off campus. It could involve you or someone else. We want to hear about service projects, internships, clubs and people that go the extra mile and deserve recognition. Submissions are due each Wednesday.

Students, faculty and staff can also purchase tickets at the discounted price of $25 each. Tickets are available for most home games and available in the Office of Campus Programming and Leadership Development in the Student Center.
