Your Golden Griffin ice hockey team, in the midst of a nine team battle for home ice advantage in the Atlantic Hockey playoffs, take on conference leader Niagara twice this week.
The Griffs host Niagara Thursday night at the Buffalo State Sports Arena at 7 p.m., before heading north on Saturday night to tackle the Purple Eagles in Dwyer Arena. That game is also at 7 p.m.
With 20 points in 19 conference games, Canisius sits in 5th place. The Griffs are only three points out of second and are ahead of 10th place Army by a mere two points.
There are eight league games remaining.
