Soup with Substance Luncheon Series Celebrates Dr. Martin. Luther King, Jr. Today All Are Welcome to Attend

Devonya Havis, PhD, assistant professor, of Philosophy presents “Civil Rights/Human Rights: Reflections on King’s Philosophical Connection with Malcolm X” today, February 6 from 12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Grupp Fireside Lounge. Soup and beverages will be served courtesy of Chartwell’s Dining Service. All are welcome to attend. Following the presentation there will be a question and answer period.

Women’s Basketball Hosts Two Game Homestand

It’s nearing crunch time in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play for the women’s basketball team. Your Griffs currently reside in a three-way tie for fourth place with a 5-5 mark in league play.

Visiting the friendly confines of the KAC this week are Saint Peter’s on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. and Loyola on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Saturday should be an exceptionally fun day with the Amherst Tiger Cubs performing at halftime and Canisius hosting large groups from Catholic Charities and Camp Good Days. Plus there is free Tim Hortons coffee, Timbits and hot chocolate for all fans rooting for the Blue and Gold.

Macs require Java update

Apple and Oracle have updated the Java client software for Mac computers. You cannot use java enabled sites until these updates are applied. Depending upon which operating system you have will determine which update you need. You can determine this by clicking on the Apple menu in the upper left corner and selecting About this Mac.
