Anne Continetti is a junior majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Spanish. The native of Binghamton, N.Y., is also the latest winner in the Shoot and Score contest. Her entry: “My experience at Canisius can be summed up through my time as an Orientation Leader last summer. I had the opportunity to bond with 40 of the most amazing students on campus as well as get to know the newest members of our Canisius family. During one of the last nights of orientation, a freshman came up to me and said, ‘I’m going to be an OL next year!’ It meant so much to see that the leadership and example of myself and my peers had inspired the next generation of leaders and explorers at Canisius.”

Anne won two tickets to a Sabres game. Your next Sabres game could be on us too. Click here to enter and win by including an example or story that best reflects the Canisius experience. It could be a short story about a student, professor, class, project or activity on or off campus. It could involve you or someone else. We want to hear about service projects, internships, clubs and people that go the extra mile and deserve recognition. Submissions are due each Wednesday.

Students, faculty and staff can also purchase tickets at the discounted price of $25 each. Tickets are available for most home games and available in the Office of Campus Programming and Leadership Development in the Student Center.
