ALANA Achievement Award for graduating ALANA seniors

The ALANA Achievement Award will be presented to a graduating ALANA (African American,Latino/a American, Asian American, Native American) senior during the Spring Honors Convocation. The purpose of this award is to recognize an ALANA student who has exemplified the Jesuit value of Magis through academic excellence, exceptional leadership, character, dedication and service to Canisius and the community-at-large.

Canisius is accepting nominations for an ALANA Achievement Award from now until March 1. Please nominate a deserving senior, or the student may self-nominate, by using a form available online http://canisius.edu/alananomination or by clicking here.

The award recipient’s name will be permanently engraved on a plaque housed in the lobby of the ALANA Student Center (Frisch Hall). The student will also receive a very nice Canisius College diploma frame.

Thank you for taking a moment to consider and hopefully to nominate a student for this deserving award.
