CPD Introduces Executive Leadership Series

The Center for Professional Development (CPD) will offer a new Executive Leadership Series beginning February 7 for early professionals.  This series is designed to train emerging leaders to meet today’s most pressing leadership challenges including:

Doing more with less,
Overcoming short term results taking precedence over developing high performing individuals and teams,
Retaining and developing top contributors.

The Executive Leadership Series is designed for all levels of leadership – early professionals, intermediate leaders, senior management, and executives – with courses with real world applications.

Christmas Hours End January 13

Christmas hours end Friday (January 13).  All offices in the college will resume regular working hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with a one-hour lunch starting Tuesday (January 17).

2012 IRS Mileage Rate

The IRS has announced that the standard mileage rate used by business drivers will remain at 55.5 cents a mile in 2012, the same as it was for the last six months of 2011.

Distinguished Faculty, Senior Award Nominations Due Today (January 11)

Nominations for the Distinguished Faculty Award and Distinguished Senior Award are due today (January 11).

The Distinguished Faculty Award recognizes a full-time faculty member for his/her outstanding contribution to the academic world and teaching excellence.  The Distinguished Senior Award recognizes seniors who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence and leadership roles at the college.
