Hockey Hosts Military Appreciation Weekend

The Canisius ice hockey team will host the Air Force Academy, Sunday (January 29) at 4:05 p.m. and Monday (January 30) at 7:05 p.m. at the Buffalo State Ice Arena.  The Falcons have captured the AHA title three of the past four years and currently reside in fourth place, four points in front of the Griffs.

In recognition of the Air Force Academy playing Canisius, the Golden Griffin athletic department is offering free tickets to either game for anyone with a valid military ID. There will also be a free open skate following Sunday’s battle.

Twin Bill In KAC Friday (January 27)

The Canisius basketball teams return to the friendly confines of the Koessler Athletic Center Friday (January 27) for a conference doubleheader.  The Canisius women open play at 5 p.m. versus Loyola with the men closing out the evening’s festivities with a 7:15 p.m. start against red-hot Manhattan.  It’s also Tim Hortons and Hart Hotels Night with lots of prizes and fun events on tap for an exciting Friday night.
