The Canisius men’s hockey team opens the home portion of its schedule this weekend against defending Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHC) champion Air Force. Game times for Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 at HarborCenter are scheduled for 7:35 p.m. Canisius enters the weekend 1-1 after a thrilling comeback against Holy Cross this past Saturday, October 13. The Falcons knocked off the Griffs in the AHC semis last March and then advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals before losing 2-1 to national champion Minnesota Duluth.
Friday, October 19 is Military Appreciation Night. All military members will receive free admission with proper ID. The first 300 fans will receive blue camo rally towels.
Saturday, October 20 is the team’s annual Pink the Rink event. Fans are encouraged to wear a touch, or a handful, of pink to the game.
Ticket prices are $10 for general admission and $15 for reserved. Children under the age of 12 receive a discount.
