On Sundays We Wear Pink

Canisius College will go pink for breast cancer awareness with a mass on Sunday, October 14 at 8:30 p.m. in the Christ the King Chapel. Campus Ministry has partnered with Colleges Against Cancer to kick off a week long campaign for breast cancer awareness. The Chapel will be decked out in pink ribbons and flowers, and the presider will wear pink vestments. Upon entering the chapel, there will be fabric on which attendants can sign the names of loved ones who have been lost to cancer. The fabric will be used as the altar cloth for the mass.

Please join Campus Ministry for this special night and remember to wear pink!

Espresso-ing Our Gratitude

The Canisius Fund team is excited to announce that the 2018-19 faculty and staff giving campaign is underway and will officially kick off with its annual coffee walk on Monday, October 15.

Canisius Fund staff members, volunteers and students will visit campus offices in the coming weeks with coffee, donuts and fall treats to personally thank faculty and staff donors for their generous support for the 2018-19 faculty and staff giving campaign.

If you have not made a gift yet, you can make one today by clicking here. There may be a special surprise for faculty and staff donors when the coffee walk makes it to your office.

In addition, the annual faculty and staff donor recognition wall (located between Tim Hortons and the Andrew L. Bouwhuis Library) is now up and proudly displays the names of the faculty and staff supporters of the 2018-19 annual campaign (as well as Giving Day 2018 supporters.)

Thank you to our faculty and staff for all that you do for our campus community. Together, we can continue to provide transformative experiences and opportunities to the students who deserve it most.
