Winter Break Hours Start December 19

The college is pleased to announce that Christmas hours will be in effect starting on Monday, December 19 through Friday, January 13, 2017. Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute meal break. Adjustments in hours may be made where workloads require different operating hours.

Help Desk

The Canisius College Help Desk hours for the winter break through the first week of the spring semester are as follows:

Monday, December 19 – Wednesday, December 21: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, December 22: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Friday, December 23 – Monday, January 2: CLOSED (Winter Break)

Tuesday, January 3 – Friday, January 13: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Monday, January 16: CLOSED (Martin Luther King Day)

Tuesday, January 17 – Thursday, January 19: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Regular hours will resume Friday, January 20.

Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Final Home Athletic Event of 2016

Tonight, December 12, marks the final time in 2016 that a Canisius team will play on campus. Your Golden Griffin men’s basketball team hosts Albany at 7:00 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center (KAC). The Griffs, who lead the nation in road wins with four, will be concluding a two-game home stand.

Albany, who knocked off both Penn State and Siena earlier this season, was 5-4 prior to a Saturday, December 10 game at Colgate, while Canisius was 4-5 before its Saturday contest against St. Francis Brooklyn.

For tickets, call 888-TIXX. Don’t forget, you can purchase tickets for any future home basketball or hockey game today or tomorrow, December 13, at the KAC ticket office. The Holiday Sale allows fans to purchase any general admission ticket for $5.00 or any reserved seat for $10, for games at both the KAC and HARBORCENTER. Call 888-2885 for more information.

Women’s Business Center Hosts Networking Event

On Thursday, January 5, the Women’s Business Center (WBC) will host a networking opportunity from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share best business strategies with the group. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards, marketing materials and enthusiasm!
