New Centralized Amazon Business Account

We are pleased to announce that Canisius College has created a centralized Amazon Business account that will improve the way the college does business with Amazon, by clearly separating business and personal Amazon.com shopping.

Your Action Items:

  1. Please look for an email invitation to join the Amazon Business account.
  1. If you have ever used your canisius.edu email address to shop on Amazon for any personal use:
  • Do not accept the Amazon Business invite before taking the below step.
  • Log into your Amazon.com account, navigate to “Your Account” then “Settings” and change your Amazon account email address to a personal email address (i.e. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.).
  1. Once this change is made, accept your Amazon Business invite and set up your account using your canisius.edu email.
  • Accept your Amazon Business invite by December 22, 2016 as the invites do expire.
  • If you require assistance, please call Amazon Business Customer Service at 866-486-2360.

Wrapping Up Your Courses in Desire2Learn

D2L_COLIWith holidays, unpredictable weather and travel obligations, the end of the fall semester can be very busy.  It pays to plan ahead and the Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) has a checklist to help you track essential procedures for wrapping up the online portion of your courses.  There aren’t many steps but they ensure that your students’ grades are reported and archived properly, and your course content is preserved for future use.  Looking further out, our start-of-semester checklist can help prepare you to teach in the spring, too.
