Final Home Athletic Event of 2016

Tonight, December 12, marks the final time in 2016 that a Canisius team will play on campus. Your Golden Griffin men’s basketball team hosts Albany at 7:00 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center (KAC). The Griffs, who lead the nation in road wins with four, will be concluding a two-game home stand.

Albany, who knocked off both Penn State and Siena earlier this season, was 5-4 prior to a Saturday, December 10 game at Colgate, while Canisius was 4-5 before its Saturday contest against St. Francis Brooklyn.

For tickets, call 888-TIXX. Don’t forget, you can purchase tickets for any future home basketball or hockey game today or tomorrow, December 13, at the KAC ticket office. The Holiday Sale allows fans to purchase any general admission ticket for $5.00 or any reserved seat for $10, for games at both the KAC and HARBORCENTER. Call 888-2885 for more information.

Women’s Business Center Hosts Networking Event

On Thursday, January 5, the Women’s Business Center (WBC) will host a networking opportunity from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share best business strategies with the group. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards, marketing materials and enthusiasm!

Business Retreat 2017 – Commit to Strategy

On Friday, January 20, the Women’s Business Center will host a 7-hour business retreat from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  in Science Hall, Room 063. The theme of the event is Commit to Strategy. The cost of the event is $79 and includes a light lunch.

Set time aside – far away from your office and constant interruptions – to capture your vision and build your road-map for business success. Attendees will gain clear measurable objectives, strategy and innovative tactics. Professionals within the areas of human resources, law, marketing, insurance and finance will provide interactive planning sessions and support.

Be inspired and learn from other women business owners from different industries and professions.
