College Search 101

collegesearch
The Office of Alumni Engagement will be offering a College Search 101 event on Monday, December 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Science Hall Commons. As a benefit to alumni, faculty, staff and friends who have current high school aged children, we would like to offer a night to hear from our in-house experts on the college search process.

Attendees will be taken through the basics of the search process, the dos and don’ts of financial aid and scholarships, and what exactly to look for in the services that an institution provides based on the individual needs of your student.

The night will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be broken up into three sessions, which will run simultaneously, giving you the chance to attend all three in various order. Afterwards, join our presenters and field experts for a light reception.

Our presenters for the evening will be Justin Rogers, director of undergraduate admissions; Annie Dobies, assistant vice president and director of the Griff Center for Academic Engagement; and Sean Hudson, assistant director of student records and financial services.
