The Dome: Off Until January 4
The Dome will be going on hiatus over the holidays.
Today is the last issue that will be published in 2016. The Dome will return after the New Year.
The Dome will publish on Wednesdays beginning January 4, 2017. Be sure to have your submissions in by Tuesday, January 3.
The Dome’s daily schedule will resume with the start of classes on Tuesday, January 17.

Here’s some fun for your holiday: Try out a mobile app for iOS or Android, called “Paper Camera.” Users can easily create a variety of images in different styles using their mobile device’s cameras. To see how it works, take a look at this quick video demonstration.
In addition to having fun at holiday events, it has at least one practical use we can think of: generate attractive accent graphics for presentations, web pages and other digital media. Add a few pencil-sketch scenes of the campus to your web page. Or maybe a neon-outline version of a campus sign to your presentation slides.
Paper Camera is a reminder that you needn’t limit yourself to the camera app that came pre-installed on your mobile device. Different apps available for iOS and Android can do some pretty interesting things with your phone or tablet’s camera. You can find Paper Camera in your phone or tablet’s app store or by going to http://papercamera.net/.

Faculty-Staff Day Set for January 14
The annual Faculty-Staff Day for Canisius men’s basketball will be held Saturday, January 14 at the Koessler Athletic Center. The Griffs host Marist that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with faculty and staff members eligible to win gift certificates from Pearl Street Grill and Brewery.
Complimentary tickets for the game can be picked up at Human Resources during normal work hours from January 9-13. Faculty and staff can receive up to four complimentary tickets with a valid college ID. Tickets will also be available at the KAC box office starting at noon on the 14th.
