On Monday, March 21, Peace Action-Canisius and the WNY Peace Center will host speakers Agnes Williams of the Indigenous Women’s Initiatives and Charley Bowman of the Environmental Justice taskforce. The event will be held in the Science Hall Commons from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The event will have reports on sustainable energy versus our present energy practices as well as a local video from the 2012 Indigenous Women Emerging Activists Conference feature Winona LaDuke.
