The Canisius Office of Alumni Engagement invites you to cheer on your Golden Griffins at a series of athletic events this month.
TAKE THE BUS TO BONAVENTURE
Take a road trip to St. Bonaventure on Saturday, November 22 to watch the Griffs battle the Bonnies. The $40 package includes bus transportation to and from St. Bonaventure, and your ticket to the basketball game. Subs will also be available to those who take the bus.
After the basketball game, the bus will make a stop at HARBORCENTER for anyone who wants to attend the Ice Griffs as they take on Mercyhurst. (Tickets to this game will be provided by the Athletics Department free of charge.)
The bus will leave from the Koessler Athletic Center’s lower parking lot at 1:30 p.m. sharp. Reservations must be made by November 17.
THE DOWNTOWN SHOWDOWN
On Saturday, November 29, the Buffalo/Niagara Canisius Alumni Chapter invites you, family and friends for a combined Big 4-Ice Griffs sporting event.
The day kicks off with the Big 4 basketball classic at First Niagara Center. Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m. between St. Bonaventure and Niagara. The Canisius game versus Buffalo follows at 4:15 p.m.
Afterwards, take a walk down to the HABORCENTER to watch the Ice Griffs face off against the Air Force. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
Or simply join us from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. for a reception at 716 Food and Sport in the upper level of the HARBORCENTER. The reception includes chicken wings, signature flat breads, top round of beef and one drink ticket (beer and well drinks only).
The Alumni Engagement Office is offering four different packages for these events:
- $50 Package – Includes tickets to both the basketball and hockey games, as well as the reception
- $40 Package – Includes tickets to the Big 4 basketball event and the reception
- $30 Package – Includes tickets to the hockey game and the reception
- $25 Package – Includes reception only
