The Office of Campus Ministry will host Maura Toomb, a campus minister from St. Peter’s Prep on Monday, November 10 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Regis South. She was a member of the Ignatian Solidarity Network’s delegation to El Salvador this summer. Her lecture is entitled “God is Real in El Salvador: A reflection on the Ignatian Solidarity Network’s delegation to El Salvador, the lives of the Jesuit martyrs of the UCA, and what we can do here at home to continue their legacy.” The purpose of Toomb’s talk is to connect the spirit of the martyrs to focus on bringing their message to our home.
November 16, 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the murders of six Jesuits priests, their housekeeper and her daughter at the University of Central America.
