The 2014-15 Informally~Formal Chamber Recital Series begins on Tuesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center, with a concert featuring BPO clarinetist and saxophonist Sal Andolina.

The program, “Music a’ la French et Italian Café,” includes guest performers Al Shlisserman, accordion; Michael Moser, guitar; and Paul Zapalowski, string bass.

In addition to his work as with the BPO as a member of the orchestra and soloist, Andolina has appeared with the the late Marvin Hamlisch and the New York City Pops at Carnegie Hall, played the Artie Shaw Concerto with Peter Nero and the BPO, and performed with the Rochester Philharmonic, the Grand Rapids Symphony, Niagara Symphony, the Fresno Philharmonic and Virginia Symphony Orchestra among others.
