September is Passport Awareness Month and your chance to apply for -or- renew a passport.
The Buffalo Passport Agency will be accepting passport applications on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its offices located at 111 Genesee Street, Suite 101, Buffalo, NY 14203. No appointment is needed. The agency will also waive the $60 fee for applications requesting expedited service (The U.S. Department of State considers “expedited service” that in which passports are processed within eight business days of the application and received within three weeks.)
Anyone requesting applications for same day or next day passports will still be required to pay a $60 service fee.
