Canisius student Hope DiNatale ’18 gets kissed by Barbara Irwin’s black lab, Juno.
Juno is a six-year old certified therapy dog who served as a “guest” in Irwin’s Griff 101 class, Canine Companions. The class provides students with an opportunity to learn about the important work of therapy dogs and gives them a chance to share their favorite dog stories, pictures and YouTube videos with fellow dog lovers. Students in the course also plan to volunteer at a local dog shelter.
