The Office of International Student Programs welcomed a group of approximately 65 new international students to the college this month. One of the programs that the office provides to assist with their transition to Canisius and the United States is the Canisius College Community Family Program. Similar to a host family program, we connect students with Canisius faculty, staff and alumni so that they may experience what it is like to be part of an American family in Buffalo, New York. Whether you are a family of one or 20, we appreciate anyone who is willing to volunteer their time to be a part of this program. International Student Programs sponsors events each semester in which we invite our community families and the international students to attend.
