ArtsCanisius – Art Show Opening Reception

As part of “Women in the Arts Week”, Buffalo photographer Elizabeth Lambert Mararian will have an open reception for her show, “Once Loved” on Friday, February 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Bouwhuis Library. This event is free and open to the public

“All of the images in this show are of dolls and toys I have seen at flea markets,” says Mararian. “I call the series ‘Once Loved’ because I am sure at one time someone really loved them, cared about them, confided in them and never imagined they would be apart.”

Photographs were taken with a Nikon FA manual camera or a Nikon D90 digital camera.
