Jeanette Franzel, current member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), will speak on Tuesday, March 4 at 4:00 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. Her lecture, entitled “Promoting Integrity of Financial Audits to Protect Investors and the Public Interest,” is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the lecture.

Appointed to the PCAOB by the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2012, Franzel oversees the audits of public companies in order to protect the interests of investors and further the public interest through high quality independent and reliable audits. The organization supervises the audits of broker-dealers, including compliance reports filed pursuant to federal securities laws. Click here to read more.
