Hockey Hosts Niagara Saturday Night

Your Canisius hockey team will close out a two – game weekend series with Niagara Saturday, February 8 at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo State Sports Arena. The two teams will also meet tonight Thursday, February 6 at 7 p.m. at Niagara.

The Griffs and Eagles are battling for playoff position in Atlantic Hockey with only eight games remaining. The Griffs lead Niagara by one point going into this weekend’s two – game affair.

Canisius to host All-College Honors Conference

On February 14-15, Canisius All-College Honors faculty & students will host the 9th annual meeting of Jesuit Honors Programs. The purpose of this gathering of the Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities (AJCU) is to improve Honors education and to further the Ignatian ideal of “magis”—doing and being “more.” President John Hurley will welcome the participants. Among the Canisius faculty presenters will be Dr. Robert Butler and Dr. Mick Cochrane from the English department. Other Canisius participants include Sr. Pat Brady, Fr. Patrick Lynch, SJ, and Fr. Michael Tunney SJ, who will preside over Saturday evening Mass at Christ the King Chapel. AJCU president Fr. Michael Sheeran, SJ, will also address the conference. The conference schedule is posted on the Honors website (canisius.edu/honors).

We now have a partnership with an outside vendor called Kivuto to offer our work-at-home licenses for faculty, staff and student discounted software afforded to us by our Microsoft and NERCOMP contracts. The link is below. Buyers need to create an account with their Canisius email address.
