Craig Chindemi, vice president for institutional advancement, has given me notice that he has accepted a new position as the vice president and chief philanthropic officer for the Martin Memorial Foundation in Stuart, Florida.
In the time that Craig has been at Canisius, he led the college’s Institutional Advancement division through the final leg of the Legacy of Leadership campaign, which exceeded its goal by $5.5 million. This was a critical period for Canisius’ fundraising efforts and I want to thank him for his service.
Craig will remain at Canisius through the end of the calendar year. The college will conduct a national search for his permanent replacement.
