Canisius College is the setting for a film and television production company visiting from the United Kingdom today.
Dragonfly Productions is producing a documentary on bullying, as it relates to school violence. Its team of producers has traveled ‘across the pond’ to interview our own Ann Marie Lenhardt, PhD, professor of counseling and human services. Lenhardt is renowned for her scholarship related to bullying and school violence.
The documentary is scheduled to air in spring 2013. Stay tuned.

To acknowledge the contributions of all faculty, staff and administrators who make the college all that it is, there will be a Service Recognition Ceremony this fall to honor those Canisius College faculty, staff, and administrators reaching their fifth, tenth, and fifteenth anniversaries of service. The twelfth annual celebration will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the Montante Cultural Center.

Conservation Treatment of Paolo Veronese’s Annunciation
Thursday, October 18 in Regis North at 2:30 pm.
Join Eileen Sullivan, art conservator, as she presents a lecture on what conservation is and isn’t. Sullivan will give a brief history of the field while going through the start to finish steps of the treatment of Veronese’s Annunciation.

Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Baron will host an informal “Meet and Greet” with interested faculty and staff on Friday (10/19) from 1-1:45 pm. The discussion on Canisius basketball will be take place in Regis South. Members of the Canisius community are invited to bring their questions for Coach Baron.
The regular season opens November 12 in the KAC when the Griffs battle Boston University at 7 pm.
