The college’s Institutional Advancement Division welcomes Beth Crvelin as assistant director of advancement events and stewardship. Crvelin is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing cultivation, recognition and stewardship events that support the institutional advancement efforts of Canisius College. In addition, she will assist in managing the endowed scholarship program and other academic endowments.

Prior to Canisius, Crvelin was assistant director of marketing and event services at Rochester Institute of Technology. In her new position she will be responsible for the Annual Board of Regents Scholarship Ball, the Endowed Scholarship Mass and Brunch, the Schreiner Lecture Series, the William H. Fitzpatrick Chair of Political Science Lecture Series, campus building and room dedications, Leadership and Demske Society receptions and various donor recognition events throughout the year.

Crvelin holds a masters degree in cross-disciplinary studies from RIT and a bachelor’s degree in English from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
