The careers of five extraordinary basketball players come to a conclusion this weekend as Elton Frazier, Julius Coles, Robert Goldsberry, Tomas Vazquez-Simmons and Greg Logins (pictured) play their final home games.

The Griffs host Manhattan on Friday at 7 p.m. and Loyola, MD. at 2 p.m. in the KAC with sixth place and a first round bye in the upcoming MAAC tournament riding on the outcome.

Friday is Tim Horton’s Night with fans receiving complimentary Timbits and hot chocolate at the door, while Sunday’s game is presented by Wendy’s and the Canisius College Bookstore with plenty of great prizes available on Fan Appreciation Day. Nearly 80 family members of men and women serving the country’s military are also expected to attend.

The five seniors all received their undergraduate degrees in three years and are currently furthering their education in various graduate programs. Their story has been told locally, regionally and nationally.

A ceremony will be held prior to Sunday’s tip-off to salute their achievements.

All faculty and staff will be admitted free to Sunday’s game, with college ID. General admission tickets have been reduced to $5  for both games on the weekend.
