An on-campus memorial mass for Mel Schroeder, associate professor of English, has been scheduled for Saturday, April 30, at 5 p.m. in Christ the King Chapel. All are welcome to join his family and friends in a celebration of his life and his 48 years of service to the Canisius community.

The Department of Athletics invites all faculty and staff free of charge to the Senior Day games for men’s and women’s basketball and ice hockey. The games included are the women’s basketball game against Niagara University on Thursday (February 24) at 7 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center, the men’s ice hockey game versus Mercyhurst on Friday (February 25) at 7 p.m. at Buffalo St. Ice Arena, and the men’s basketball game against Loyola (Md.) on Sunday, February 27 at 2 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center.

Canisius College’s Celebration of Service ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 29, 2011, at 3 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. The college would like to honor those faculty and staff members who will be retiring.
