Complimentary vintage-style hockey caps from New Era highlight the promotional activities for Friday’s (February 25) final home game of the 2010-11 Golden Griffin hockey season.
The Griffs open the weekend home and home series with Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo State Ice Arena. All faculty and staff are admitted free and the first 150 Canisius fans receive a New Era cap. Following the game, Canisius coach Dave Smith will honor his nine seniors. The Griffs need to take three points this weekend from the Lakers in order to secure the fifth seed in the Atlantic Hockey championships.
