The Canisius College women’s basketball team hosts its final home game of the season tomorrow (February 24) at 7 p.m. when the Niagara Purple Eagles visit the Koessler Athletic Center.  It’s “Pack the House” and “Athletes for Athletes Night” with a special halftime ceremony scheduled to honor the MAAC regular season women’s soccer team.  Faculty and staff are admitted free with their Canisius ID.

Tomorrow’s game will be the final home appearance for seniors Caitlin Krull ‘11, Micayla Drysdale ‘11 and Tauralee Tenn ‘11.  They will be honored prior to tip-off.  The game also marks the final winter event in The Battle of the Bridge competition.  Niagara currently leads 12-11 with Thursday night’s game worth two points.  The competition concludes in the spring with points awarded in softball, baseball, golf and women’s lacrosse.
