All members of the Canisius community are invited to attend information sessions for an upcoming immersion course in Chinese philosophy.

The course will teach students about Daoism, Confucianism and Buddhism in China, and students will visit temples and meet monks and priests of the different religions.  The immersion course counts as a Fall 2010 registered course (PHI 317) and the trip will be held in late May and June of this year with stops to Xiamen and Beijing.

Information sessions are tomorrow (February 24) from 10 a.m. – noon in the Library Conference Room, Friday (February 25) from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the Library Conference Room, and Tuesday (March 1) from 3:30 – 5 p.m. in Churchill Tower 205.

The immersion course is sponsored by the Institute for the Global Study of Religion at Canisius College.
