The Canisius College synchronized swim team hosts its only regular season meet of the season this Sunday when Penn State visits the Koessler Athletic Center pool for an 11 a.m. dual meet. There is no admission charge to watch the Golden Griffins, who field one of the top varsity programs in the country.
Sunday’s meet is a prelude to the Collegiate Nationals, which Canisius will host in mid-March at the Tonawanda Aquatic Center. Tickets for that meet, which will feature Ohio State and Stanford, are available at www.gogriffs.com. The meet is expected to sell out well in advance.
The synchro team won its initial competition of the season last weekend at Lindenwood (Mo.). For additional information, go to www.gogriffs.com.
