The Golden Griffins women’s soccer team will host a pair of contests this weekend at the Demske Sports Complex. The Griffs, who knocked off the University at Buffalo this past weekend, meet Delaware State at 3 p.m. Friday (September 24) and then battle Colgate at Noon on Sunday (September 26) in a game that will be televised regionally by Time Warner Cable.
Coach Jim Wendling’s squad is off to a 4-4 start and is undefeated in two home matches. Kelly Reinwald leads the Griffs with four goals and three assists, while freshman Brianna Smith tops the team with five goals.
