Campus Ministry’s Fall Canisius Community Service Day is Saturday, September 25 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The day will include a continental breakfast and will conclude with a barbecue lunch sponsored by Chartwell’s Dining Service.
Canisius Community Day partners members of the college community with non-profit organizations in the City of Buffalo to perform community service.
Campus ministry is also looking for referrals for new community partners and placements for this day. Traditionally, faculty and staff have established associations with non-profit agencies in the area, and campus ministry is always interested in new partners that offer good and meaningful community service.

In order to make the campus wireless computer network more secure and more accessible to campus guests, ITS added two new wireless networks this summer.
“CanisiusWireless” is accessible in all non-residential buildings on the main campus. This is a WPA2-enabled network, which means that all traffic on it is encrypted and protected from eavesdropping. It is strongly recommend that users with college computers that are part of the campus Active Directory environment use this network rather than the old wireless network.
“CanisiusGuest” is available in all buildings on the main campus, including the residence halls. This network provides Internet access for visitors to our campus through a self-registration process.
For more information on how to connect to these networks, click here or call the ITS Help Desk at Ext. 2299.
