The Office of Student Success and Retention needs help from Canisius faculty and staff in identifying students in need of support. An online system is available that allows faculty and staff to submit concerns. Click here to get started.
Faculty and staff should submit a report in the following instances:
- The student seems emotionally distressed or overwhelmed
- The student confides something that should be addressed on an administrative level
- The student has stopped attending class and has not replied to attempts to contact him/her
- Several attempts with no reply have been made to contact the student regarding missing or inadequate course work
- The student indicates they are not planning to return Canisius next semester.
- The student could benefit from a mentor
