This Fall, Information Technology Services (ITS) rolls out two great pieces of software on campus that will amplify online course content and promote interactive learning.
Softchalk helps faculty to easily engage their students through the creation of interactive content including games, quiz questions and pop-up text annotations. Specialized training sessions will be held beginning October 29 with a three-week “Mission Softchalk” seminar for all levels of users ranging from beginners to advanced users.

Elluminate is a virtual environment and web-conferencing tool optimized for learning. Students can also use Elluminate if their instructors have set up a room for them. For information about Elluminate, click here.
