The FacTS Center has partnered with eInstruction to support the CPS Wireless Student Response system on campus.
The CPS system is open to a variety of uses. Faculty members can use it to poll students in their class and quickly receive group answers. Administrative staff can use it for larger group meetings or seminars for the same purpose. The system allows students and meeting participants to interact with the instructor or leader in a wide variety of ways, and is an especially wonderful way for faculty to engage students in class.
Those wishing to utilize the CPS system are eligible to receive a free receiver for use in the classroom or meeting. The clickers are available for purchase in the bookstore along with other course supplies.
For more information, please contact Chris Filkins in the FacTS Center (CT-003) at Ext. 8353. Please note – eInstruction CPS is the only “clicker” hardware/software currently supported on campus. For any concerns or questions regarding other clickers, please contact Chris Filkins in the FacTS Center.
